You called a business
That business uses BusyTel to answer its phone. You told our assistant your name and what you needed, nobody was free to take the call, so one text goes out saying they have your message and will call you back.
Help
BusyTel answers the phone for small businesses. If a text from us reached your phone, it is because you called one of those businesses, or because you run one. Reply STOP to any message and they stop.
Why we texted you
There is no marketing list here and nothing promotional is ever sent from this number. Your number is not sold, rented or shared, and it is used for the call it came from and nothing else.
One text per call our assistant answers, and nothing between calls. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

You are the owner, or you are on the crew. One text goes out for each call our assistant answers: who rang, what about, and a link to the recording and the transcript afterwards.
A six digit code goes once to any number entered while somebody is setting up the service, to check that whoever typed it is holding the phone. That message carries a link that stops us contacting the number for good.
Stop and start
Reply STOP to any message from us and every text stops, across every business on BusyTel rather than only the one you called. START turns them back on. Both words are handled by your phone company, from your own phone, which is the reason we cannot do either of them for you.
STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT all do what STOP does. Calls to a BusyTel number are answered either way, since what stops is the texts.
If texts stopped arriving and you want them back| Reply | What happens |
|---|---|
| STOP | Every text from that number stops, for all of BusyTel and not only the business you called. |
| START | Texts start arriving again, sent from the same phone that sent STOP. |
| HELP | A short reply naming us, saying what we do, and linking back to this page. |
What we do
Somebody under a sink cannot pick up, and a missed call is usually a lost job. BusyTel answers instead, finds out who is calling and what they need, and puts the owner in the loop while the caller is still on the line.
How BusyTel numbers workA business points its phone at a BusyTel number. When nobody picks up, our assistant answers and says at the start that the call is recorded.
Who is calling, what they need, and whether it can wait. Plain questions in the caller's own language, with no menu to press through.
One text goes to the owner with the details in it. They reply yes to take the call now, or no to call back later.
Where the owner cannot take it, the caller gets one text saying the business has their message, and the business calls them back.
Contact
One address for any of it: a text you were not expecting, a number you want left alone for good, a business you cannot reach, or an account. We answer by email rather than by text, so nothing new lands on your phone.
